Today would've been Kurt Cobains Birthday.

If Kurt Cobain was still alive today, he'd be 40. So I want to ask you this-- what do you think he'd be doing? Would he be playing the same kind of music? Still married to Courtney?

Or was he too much of a tortured soul to keep kicking? I'll be honest and say that I didn't love Nirvana. I was what, 13? And while all my friends were identifying with the grunge gods, I was like damn, I'm 13, life ain't that bad yet.

But I do have respect for a such a tragic idol with such intense staying power. Happy Birthday, Kurt, hope you're doin' alright in Rock n' Roll heaven.

He really wasnt anything special. Im not going to lie, i loved Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots etc. It was decent music that fit the time period. but how many of those bands do you hear about anymore? well, aside from on those comp. cds they sell on tv. He was just a dude in a decent band, that killed himself at the right time. end of story.
