The Academy Is ... Enter the Studio With 'Best' Material

TAI fans, get stoked — this week the band entered a recording studio in New York to get crackin' on Santi's follow-up! They have about 20 tracks in "final form," according to RollingStone.com, and will now determine what bassist Adam Siska calls "the best of" for the album's track list.

In news that you think may not be related, but totally is, Disney's "Narnia: Prince Caspian" hits theaters May 16. How, you may be asking, is this related to The Academy Is ...? The correlation, let me show you it:

One of the above fellows is William "my hips don't lie" Beckett, and the other is Ben "Prince Caspian" Barnes.

In light of recent events involving scissors and William Beckett's gorgeous, lucious locks, some of us have become enticed by THE Beckett dopplegänger. In fact, some of us almost rear-ended a pretty little Hybrid on Hollywood Blvd. because of the glory that the "Narnia" billboard bestows made us forget basic motor functions. And by us, of course, I mean me.

Something has to be done. Either Beckett starts taking the stage dressed in armor or Ben Barnes returns to boy-bandom or ... wait ... I feel a poll coming on ...
