 Wentz and the Fall Out Boy crew were performing an acoustic show at Schuba's - on Monday hosted by Spin magazine - when things went horribly wrong. Shortly after taking the stage, "a man in the audience started heckling Pete," a source tells PerezHilton.com exclusively. "The man was making fun of Pete's hoody, mocking Ashlee Simpson and calling Pete a sell-out." After performing only a three song set, the band got up and walked off stage, but before Wentz walked out the side door he "he lunged for the heckler in the audience and punched him in the side of the face. A few other guys got some shots in, including a bodyguard and some random guy from the audience. The bodyguards were able to pull Pete out of the side door, but after everyone was through with the heckler, he lie on the floor with a ripped shirt, bloody nose, and had apparently bled all over the floor of the venue. A few people got some cell phone picture shots." -------- Kay, I realize this could be some way blown-out-of-proportion story, but I have just a few questions: 2. How did he mock Ashlee? Did he lip sync? 3. Where are those pictures? I don't think violence is the answer, but people who go to shows just to boo the band are downright lame. Why would you want to spend your time expelling negative energy instead of doing something you enjoy? EDITTTT: MTV news has the real story.

the people who boo or make fun of a band on stage make me cringe. i dont agree with violence but its really sick. i dont even know how to explain it. and petes behavior was just as low. :-(
lets hopppeeee he learned his lesson after the last time and isnt still fighting kids at shows, lol.

How do we even know if the kid was doing it to be a jerk or insult?
I've yelled at kids I'm friends with to get off the stage before.
I think he blew the whole situation out of proportion.
For all he knows, the kid could have been apologizing.
You don't just out-right hurt someone for grabbing your arm.
Especially if you have a bodyguard.
Just either push them away or take their hand off.
okay i'm not one to stand up for pete wentz, but that's where you're wrong. if someone grabs you to pull you off stage, what can their intent possibly be other than to escalate to violence? i would have done the same thing.
