Heels for the Highway?
Product: Convertible Heels.

Info: "Created by Sheilas’ Wheels, a woman-focused division of a UK insurance company, it's all about promoting safe driving while looking fabulous!"
My two cents: Now look, I know I can't knock it 'til I've tried it, but isn't there something inherently suspect with a shoe engineered by an insurance company?
The only pair of heels I was ever able to hobble around in for more than an hour without thinking they were the worst idea EVER was a pair of Steve Madden's. When I went back to the store to get them in another color (they were out, of course) the salesgirl lectured me on how there is a precise science to creating shoes-- heel placement and width, etc etc. Of course, this all could have been considered. It's just an uncomforable picture is all.
Anyway, no one sees your feet while you drive-- can't you just stash some flip flops in the glove compartment?
ps. Why is it illegal to drive barefoot? I don't understand.
