Um, guys? MTV has confirmed that Britney Spears is, in fact, opening the 2008 Video Music Awards -- just not with a performance. MTV Networks Music Group President Van Toffler said Wednesday, it'll be something "fun and unexpected" on Sunday night's show. Awwwhhh shiz, Buzzneters, what do we think it'll be?

Last night, the CW premiered a new 90210, an update of the 1990-2000 Fox show (responsible for anyone who shouts, "Donna Martin graduates!" upon seeing Tori Spelling.) Anyway. If you watched, what was your impression?

Ex-Blessthefall singer Craig Mabbitt left his band earlier this year and is currently playing a few shows with Escape the Fate as Ronnie Radke's replacement.
